Refund policy
Returns of prints
Prints are specially made to order so cannot be returned. However, in the unlikely event that your print arrives damaged, or there is a quality issue, please follow the instructions below in the Damages and issues section.
Returns of original artworks
I am confident that your chosen piece will not disappoint. However, if for any reason you receive your artwork and wish to return or exchange, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your order. You can return the artwork for a full refund (not including any customs duties paid).
I accept returns and exchanges if:
- I receive the artwork back within 30 days of you receiving your order, and
- the artwork is returned in its original, resalable condition.
Conditions of return
To start a return, contact me at elaine@elaineboylanart.com. Artwork sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note:
- Buyers are responsible for return postage costs.
- If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
- Returns will be processed within 7 days of the items being returned.
- Returns must be sent securely packaged by tracked and insured shipping to my studio in Turkey or my UK address.
Refunds
I will notify you once I’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Damages and issues
It is extremely rare for breakages or damage to occur. In the unlikely event that your print or artwork arrives damaged, or there is a quality issue, please contact me at elaine@elaineboylanart.com. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact me within 2 days if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue. I will arrange a replacement print free of charge.
If If there is a problem with an original artwork, I will try to resolve the as soon as possible.
To speed up the process, please include in your email an image of the damaged package and artwork, as well as the order number.
Non-returnable items
Specially commissioned artwork cannot be returned as it cannot be resold. However, you will be kept informed at stages throughout completion so that any issues can be addressed while the work is in progress.
