Free worldwide shipping
One of my personal bugbears is to get to the checkout only to discover an unexpected and expensive shipping fee. This is why I offer free shipping. However, if delivery costs to your location are very high, I reserve the right the right to contact you so that we can agree on a shared cost solution, or to offer a full refund.
Original artwork
Original artwork is carefully and robustly packaged and shipped from my studio in Turkey. Orders are typically shipped within 1 week via DHL. Insurance and tracking are included.
Fine art prints
Prints are sent by tracked delivery and are usually shipped within 3-5 business days. I work with fine art printing companies in the UK, Europe, Australia, the US, and Turkey. This helps reduce my carbon footprint and avoids most customers having to pay customs duties and import fees.
Unframed fine art prints are hand rolled in protective tissue paper and then shipped in extra thick cardboard tubes, unless they are A4 or smaller and being delivered in mainland Europe (in which case they are shipped in thick cardboard envelopes).
All framed and canvas prints are wrapped in a protective sleeve with individual plastic or cardboard guards added to each corner. Additional cardboard is secured over the print surface to minimise the risk of breakages or transit damage. Each print is then shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box.
Customs duties and import fees
Rates for duties and import fees are set by the artwork’s destination country and are charged directly by the country’s customs office. Where possible, I send artwork Delivered duty paid (DDP). However, a few countries do not allow advance payment of duties (including Estonia, Greece, Portugal, and Slovenia). If this is the case for your location, you may need to pay customs and/or import fees when receiving your original artwork. Duties and import fees vary from country to country (typically 5-10% of the declared value). Some countries have exemptions for artworks up to a certain value. In the case of returns, any customs or import charges you’ve paid are non-refundable.
